An operating table support comprising a support base (12), a support portion (10) coupled with the support base (12), a head portion (14) coupled with a lying surface of an operating table panel for placing the patient, and a number of servo actuators (16, 18, 20) carrying the head portion (14) each of which respectively comprises a first element (58, 64) and a second element (56, 48) linearly movable in relation to the first one and having an effect on the head portion (14). The first element of the first servo actuator (16) is coupled with a support portion (10) so that the second element of the first servo actuator (16) moves only towards a first vertical axis, whereas the head portion (14) is coupled with the second element of the first servo actuator and rotating about a second horizontal axis and a third axis perpendicular thereto. The first element (58) of the second servo actuator (18) is coupled with the support portion (10) and rotates about a rotation axis (62), parallel to the second axis.
