PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cool feeling-reinforcing agent showing the effect even when adding a small amount, also a cool feeling product added with such the cool feeling-reinforcing agent, and to provide a method for reinforcing the cool feeling.
SOLUTION: This cool feeling-reinforcing agent consists of quinic acid or its derivative. The cool feeling-reinforcing agent consists of an extract containing the quinic acid and obtained by extracting tea leaves with water and/or a polar organic solvent. The cool feeling-reinforcing agent consists of a coffee beans hydrolysate containing quinic acid, obtained by hydrolyzing the coffee beans and purifying the product. The cool-feeling product added with such the reinforcing agent, and the method for reinforcing the cool feeling by adding such the reinforcing agent to the cool feeling product are also provided.
