PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of Panax ginseng which can shorten cultivation period.SOLUTION: A seed subjected to forced sprouting treatment is subjected to low temperature treatment at a temperature not capable of sprouting, subsequently is seeded, and is allowed to sprout. A sprouted seedling is allowed to grow for 100 to 120 days under the atmosphere containing CO2 of higher concentration than the air, while keeping a light intensity which can promote growth.
