PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massage machine which allows a user to smoothly and surely remove the hands and/or the forearms from arm massage parts after massage of the users hands and/or the forearms finishes.SOLUTION: A chair type massage machine 1 includes: a seat part 2 armrest parts 3 provided on both sides of the seat part 2 arm massage parts 5 that have opening parts 7 opened rearward the armrest parts 3 and massage the hands W and/or the forearms V inserted from the opening parts 7 and a backrest part 4 provided at the back side of the seat part 2.
