PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a plurality of kinds of syringes different in size without using an adapter.SOLUTION: A piston holding mechanism 10 includes: a frame 11 a pair of flange holding members 12, 13 supported on the frame 11 to hold a piston flange from both diameter-direction sides and an operation member. In order to hold cylinder piston flanges having a plurality of kinds of sizes, the flange holding members 12, 13 are supported on the frame 11 to rock like double doors in a front-rear direction, and include a plurality of flange receivers 12a to 12e, 13a to 13e formed like a staircase in order from the maximum size to the minimum size syringes to hold the piston flange of the maximum syringe at the most rear end position, and to hold the piston flange of the minimum syringe at the forefront position.
