PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a movement of a presser for operating a syringe without using a rotary encoder and potentiometer.SOLUTION: A chemical feeder includes an injection head 110, an acceleration sensor 114, and an injection control part. The injection head 110 includes a piston drive mechanism including a linear motion unit in which a syringe is detachably mounted and which is moved in an axial direction of the syringe for operating a piston of the syringe. The acceleration sensor 114 is fixed to the linear motion unit.
