Disclosed is a process for purifying one or more chemical components from a plant using extraction with a non-solvent fluid, such as vegetable oil. The extracted chemical component may then be further processed, optionally by heating, to induce the desired chemical transformation. The extracted chemical components are also processed by concentration under reduced pressure, for example by distillation.
