PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging apparatus having a structure advantageous to down-sizing and improvement in portability.SOLUTION: A radiation imaging apparatus comprises a radiation imaging panel, an electric circuit board electrically connected to the radiation imaging panel, and a housing accommodating the radiation imaging panel and the electric circuit board. The housing includes a first plate part constituting a radiation incident surface, a second plate part constituting a surface on the opposite side of the first plate part, and a frame-like side wall part constituting a side surface. The side wall part has a gripping recess recessed toward the inside of the housing.
