A system is provided for marking on a recording medium (36), such as a label, the location of imaged tissue with respect to an exposed surface of the tissue (34). Tissue is imaged by a microscope (11) capable of imaging sections of the tissue below the exposed tissue surface through optics. A ring (32) applied to the surface of the tissue stabilizes the tissue to the optics and localizes a portion of the tissue surface through an aperture in the ring. An actuator (38) is connected to both the ring and the microscope for moving the ring to adjust the position of the tissue with respect to the optics, thereby allowing an operator of the system to survey different images of tissue sections with the microscope.Linvention concerne un système permettant de marquer sur un support denregistrement (36), tel quune étiquette, un point dun tissu visualisé par rapport à la surface exposée du tissu (34). Le tissu est visualisé au moyen dun microscope (11) capable de mettre en images des sections du tissu situées au-dessous de la surface du tissu exposée, à travers un dispositif optique. Un anneau (32) appliqué sur la surface du tissu permet de stabiliser ce dernier sur le dispositif optique et de localiser une partie de la surface du tissu à travers une ouverture de lanneau. Un activateur (38) relié à la fois à lanneau et au microscope déplace lanneau afin de régler la position du tissu par rapport au dispositif optique, ce qui permet à un opérateur dobserver différentes images des sections du tissu à laide du microscope.
