The invention relates to a laser module adaptable to an ophthalmic microscope. According to the invention, the laser module comprises a Nd:Yag laser () emitting a polarized super-Gaussian beam, an electro-optical attenuator continuously controlled though a control voltage generated by a source controlled by a micro-controller, two devices () for measuring the laser energy upstream and downstream the attenuator (), a shutter () for blocking the laser beam when surgery is not performed, a telescope () for expanding the beam in order to decrease the divergence thereof, namely for minimizing the area of the focal spot, a laser diode () with visible emission for marking the laser spot position, an optical assembly comprising an optical divider () and some prisms () for dividing and deflecting the beam emitted by the diode (), both the Nd:Yag laser beam and the two marking beams resulting as a consequence of the division being focalized to the place of the surgery by a laser objective () and a dichroic mirror () playing the role of deflecting the laser beam and the two marking beams and bringing them on the same optical path as the optics of an ophthalmic microscope ().Invenţia se referă la un modul laser adaptabil la un microscop oftalmic.
