PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image detector maintaining the resolution in six directions before and after binning of three pixels.SOLUTION: Charges of three pixels are read collectively in a radiation detector 42 for a plurality of pixel groups each consisting of three pixels, out of a plurality of pixels 20 of hexagonal pixel region, and charge signals of these three pixels are synthesized and integrated sequentially by means of a charge amplifier. Furthermore, for a specific pixel group, the charge signal of two pixels out of the three pixels constituting that pixel group, and the charge signal of one remaining pixel are added while shifting the integration timing of the same charge amplifier, thus performing the binning of three pixels.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】3画素のビニング処理の前後で6方向の解像度を維持した放射線画像検出器を提供する。【解決手段】放射線検出器42の画素領域が六角形状の複数の画素20のうち、各々が3画素からなる複数の画素群について、放射線検出器42内で3画素分の電荷をまとめて読み取り、これら3画素の電荷信号を合成して、チャージアンプで順次、積分する。さらに、特定の画素群に対しては、その画素群を構成する3画素のうち、2画素分の電荷信号と、残りの1画素分の電荷信号とを、同一のチャージアンプの積分タイミングをずらして加算する。これにより、3画素のビニング処理を行う。【選択図】図2
