PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting magnet device in which the strength of a radiation shield having slits is improved.SOLUTION: A superconducting magnet unit 2 comprises a superconducting coil 3, a radiation shield 6 which is disposed so as to surround the superconducting coil 3 and in which one or more slits 62 are formed, and a vacuum container 7 which includes the superconducting coil 3 and the radiation shield 6.
