PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which hardly generates displacement and is excellent in fitness and moisture permeability of a non-skin facing surface when using the absorbent article while fixing it to clothes firmly.SOLUTION: On a non-skin facing surface of a rear surface sheet 3, a surface strength reinforcement element 30 including a nonwoven fabric 31 and an adhesive agent 32 for fixing the nonwoven fabric to the rear surface sheet 3 is disposed. On the non-skin facing surface of the surface strength reinforcement element 30, a hook material 35, which is provided with a plurality of engaging projections on a surface of a base sheet, is provided as a displacement stop part for fixing an absorbent body 5 to clothes. The surface strength reinforcement element 30 has a U-shaped portion protruding toward a front side in a longitudinal direction X in a plane view. A bottom part 30A of the U-shaped portion is a front end part of the absorbent body 5 in the longitudinal direction, and the U-shaped portion has a pair of straight parts 30B, 30B extending in the longitudinal direction X from the front end part in the longitudinal direction through both side parts of the absorbent body 5 in a lateral direction Y. In the straight parts 30B, a plurality of hook materials 3 are provided at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction X.
