PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange an elastic member in one area of an absorbent article while suppressing reduction in the quality of the absorbent article.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 comprises: an absorber 30 a skin surface sheet 10 arranged on a skin facing surface side of the absorber a leakage prevention sheet 21 arranged on a non-skin facing surface side of the absorber an exterior sheet 22 arranged on the non-skin facing surface side of the leakage prevention sheet and an inner elastic member 72 which overlaps the leakage prevention sheet in a thickness direction T, and stretches and contracts in a longitudinal direction. A front end edge 21F and a rear end edge 21R in the longitudinal direction of the leakage prevention sheet are positioned on the inner side in the longitudinal direction from a front end edge 1F and a rear end edge 1R in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article. A range 72E of an effective length of the inner elastic member overlaps the leakage prevention sheet in the thickness direction T. The skin surface sheet and the exterior sheet are joined in a front side area FA extending forward from the elastic member and in a rear side area RA extending rearward from the elastic member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
