The present invention relates to a method for cultivating freshwater eel using deep seawater. More specifically, provided is a method for cultivating freshwater eel using deep seawater, comprising the following steps: supplying deep seawater to a cultivation tank； heating deep seawater supplied to the cultivation tank to a set temperature for cultivation； maintaining the deep seawater at the set temperature, and then adding freshwater eel to the cultivation tank； cultivating freshwater eel for a set amount of time； and releasing the freshwater eel after the cultivation.본 발명은 해양심층수를 이용한 민물장어 축양방법에 관한 것으로서, 축양 수조에 해양심층수를 공급하는 단계와, 축양수조에 공급된 해양심층수를 축양 설정온도로 가열하는 단계와, 해양심층수를 축양설정 온도로 유지한 후, 민물장어를 축양수조에 투입하는 단계와, 설정 시간동안 민물장어를 축양하는 단계 및 축양 완료 후, 민물장어를 출하하는 단계를 포함하는 해양심층수를 이용한 민물장어 축양방법이 제공된다.
