PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant specimen capable of retaining an initial arrange condition for a long period, and to provide a production method of the same.SOLUTION: A plant specimen 1 comprises a plurality of plants 2 for the specimen, a container 3 for storing the plants 2, and silicone oil 4 charged into the container 3. The plant specimen 1 enabling obtaining beautiful appreciation for a long period is achieved by: putting the plants 2 in a state of being previously immersed in the silicone oil before putting into the container 3 so as to defoam foam (defoaming step)； putting the plants 2 into the container 3 and defining a direction in accordance with an appreciation direction (insertion step)； charing the silicone oil 4 into the container 3 until the plants 2 are immersed (immersing step)； overlapping newly plants (second plants) 2b on the immersed plants (first plants) 2a followed by charging the silicone oil 4 into the container 3 until the second plants 2b are immersed (overlapping step)； and at this time, fitting a reference plane 10 of the second plants 2b in accordance with the reference plane 10 of the first plants 2a (alignment step).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】初期のアレンジ状態を長期間維持することができる植物の標本およびその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】植物の標本１は、標本用の複数の植物２と、植物２を収納する容器３と、容器３内に投入されるシリコーンオイル４とを備える。植物２は、容器３に入れる前に、予めシリコーンオイルに浸漬して気泡を脱法させた状態にある（脱法工程）。その植物２を容器３に入れて、鑑賞方向に合わせて方向を定め（挿入工程）、シリコーンオイル４を植物２が浸漬するまで容器３内に投入する（浸漬工程）。浸漬された植物（第１の植物）２ａの上に、新たに植物（第２の植物）２ｂを積み重ね、その第２の植物２ｂが浸漬するまでシリコーンオイル４を容器３内に投入する（重ね工程）。その際、第１の植物２ａの基準面１０に合わせて、第２の植物２ｂの基準面１０も合わせる（配列工程）ことにより、長期的に美しい鑑賞を得られる植物の標本１が実現する。【選択図】図１
