PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering cooking oil, by which an oil draining basket is rotatably driven in a well-balanced manner, oil is efficiently separated and recovered in a short time, a component member is not damaged and used durably.SOLUTION: An apparatus for recovering cooking oil, includes: a tank 2 having an upper opening 5 the oil draining basket 11 provided in the tank and rotatably driven by an electric motor 8 and an input hole 19 for food particles remaining in the oil which is provided at the upper part corresponding to the oil draining basket.
