PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging apparatus capable of acquiring a correct long image by preventing positional deviation of a subject image even when the movement direction of an X-ray detecting portion does not match the reference direction of and X-ray detector.SOLUTION: An angle detecting section 82 detects a cross angle between the movement direction of the X-ray detecting section and the reference direction of the flat panel detector 7 on the basis of an image obtained by imaging a pair of markers disposed along the X-ray detecting section having an X-ray tube 31. Then, a unit image moving section 83 moves respective unit images on the basis of the cross angle. After that, a unit image compositing section 84 composites the unit images.
