PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaged citric acid-rich acidic beverage that has less citric acid-derived foreign taste and is easily drinkable and highly palatable in spite of being the acidic beverage containing a high content of citric acid, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: Potassium citrate salt is added to a packaged citric acid-containing acidic beverage having the citric acid concentration of 0.4 to 1.5 wt.% so that the ratio of the potassium concentration to the citric acid concentration is preferably 0.001 to 0.37, and thereby providing a packaged citric acid-rich acidic beverage in which the citric acid-derived foreign taste is reduced.
