PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for culturing eel by which eel having taste and palate feeling almost equal to those of natural eel can be cultured: and to provide eel culturing feed.SOLUTION: A method for culturing eel comprises using feed composed by adding Squilla oratoria to formula feed consisting mainly of fish meal. In the method, eels is cultured by using the feed composed by addition of headed Squilla oratoria so that the dry weight of the headed Squilla oratoria based on the total dry weight of the formula feed and the headed Squilla oratoria together when adding the headed Squilla oratoria to the formula feed is 20-40%. In addition to a culture step of using the feed mixed with the headed Squilla oratoria, a step of culturing eels by using feed obtained by adding flaked Squilla oratoria to the formula feed can be added.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】天然ウナギとほぼ同等の味覚と食感を備えたウナギを養殖することが可能なウナギの養殖方法とウナギの養殖用飼料を提供する。【解決手段】魚粉を主成分とする配合飼料に対してシャコを添加して構成される飼料を用いたウナギの養殖方法であって、配合飼料に対して有頭シャコを添加したときの、配合飼料と有頭シャコとを合わせた全乾燥重量に対する有頭シャコの乾燥重量比が20%以上40%以下となるように、有頭シャコを添加して構成される飼料を用いてウナギの養殖を行う。また、有頭シャコを添加した飼料を用いた養殖工程に加えて、剥き身シャコを配合飼料に添加した飼料を用いてウナギの養殖を行う工程を付加することができる。【選択図】図10
