PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article that effectively prevents forward and backward leakage even when a user is facing sideways.SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes: a body part including a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and an absorber interposed between them and a plurality of three-dimensional gathers extending in a longitudinal direction on the laterally outside of the body part. Each of the plurality of three-dimensional gathers includes a first three-dimensional gather 10 having a raised part 11 positioned at the longitudinal center, fixed parts 12 positioned at both longitudinal ends, and a half-raised part 13 positioned between the raised part 11 and fixed parts 12 and a second three-dimensional gather 20 which is arranged on the lateral outside of the first three-dimensional gather 10, and has a raised part 21 positioned at a longitudinal center and fixed parts 22 positioned on both ends, the front and rear ends of the raised part 21 extending to the side of half-raised part 13 of the first three-dimensional gathers.
