PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable resin composition which can give a cured product (a molding) having a high refractive index, having high heat resistance, high adhesiveness, high chemical resistance, high thermal shock resistance and the like with good productivity, and capable of stably exhibiting high transparency and uniformity even after being exposed to a high-temperature environment, and is excellent in storage stability, and to provide a cured product and an optical material using the curable resin composition.SOLUTION: A curable resin composition contains a compound having a cation-curable cyclic ether group, a compound having a cation-curable double bond, and a boron compound. The boron compound is a compound comprising a specific Lewis acid and Lewis base.
