PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type absorbent article capable of suppressing stiffness of an absorber and excellent in wearing feeling.SOLUTION: An underpants type absorbent article comprises: an exterior body and an absorber body positioned on a skin contact face side of the exterior body. The exterior body comprises: a waist part opening side which is extended and shrunk in a peripheral direction and a pair of leg-surrounding part opening parts. The absorber body comprises: a top sheet having liquid permeability a leak prevention sheet having liquid impermeability and an absorber disposed between the top sheet and leak prevention sheet. The absorber is divided into a ventral part, a crotch part and a back side part in a longitudinal direction, in the crotch part, plural slits extending in a longitudinal direction are formed.
