PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants-type disposable diaper excellent in texture and liquid return prevention of a liquid-absorbing surface, and also excellent in absorption performance and leak prevention at a crotch part.SOLUTION: An underpants-type disposable diaper 1 is arranged so that a surface sheet 2 covers the skin-contact surface side of an absorber 4 and covers non-skin-contact surface sides of both side edges 4e and both side parts 4S. Leak prevention cuffs 6, 6 are arranged so as to range from the non-skin-contact surface side to the skin-contact surface side of an absorbent body 5 at its ventral part and its dorsal part, and rise at a crotch part C when worn. The absorbent body 5 includes a fixation part 67 to the leak prevention cuff 6 at a portion apart inward from the side edge 4e of the absorber 4. The surface sheet 2 includes an uneven region 2a where convex parts are formed dispersedly at a part covering the skin-contact surface side of the absorber 4.
