A fluid-cooled LED-based lighting fixture for Controlled EnvironmentAgriculture (CEA) to improve energy efficiency,recycle waste heat, and support the operation of environmental sensors in acontrolled agricultural environment. In one example, alighting fixture frame mechanically supports and houses respective componentsof the lighting fixture and includes a light spine tomechanically couple the lighting fixture to a support structure. One or morecoolant pipes formed from copper and coupled to thelighting fixture frame conduct a fluid coolant through the lighting fixture toremove heat. The lighting fixture comprises one or moreLED modules to emit light, and a multiple electrical power and communicationports to facilitate interconnection of the lighting fixturein a variety of controlled agricultural environments.
