PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule having a high soft extract content and thus having a high extract content.SOLUTION: The soft capsule is formed by using a soft extract and a material obtained by forcibly dispersing (emulsifying or dispersing) a volatile component in the soft extract into a hydrophilic edible oil and fat, e.g. oleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, linolic acid, linolenic acid, etc., as contents. Since the volatile component contained in the soft extract is embraced in the edible oil and fat, volatilization of the volatile component becomes hard and the volatilization does not occur in the subsequent drying step and any recessed part is not formed on the surface of the capsule.COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT【課題】ミツロウ等の乳化剤を併用して軟エキスを油脂と合わせて乳化ないし分散させた上でソフトカプセルに封入しても、カプセルの表面に凹みが生じないように水分含量を調整すると、1カプセル当りのエキス分の含量が少なくなってしまう。【解決手段】軟エキスと、軟エキス中の揮発成分を、親水性の食用油脂、例えば、オレイン酸、パルミチン酸、ステアリン酸、リノール酸、リノレン酸等とを強制分散(乳化ないし分散)させたものを内容物としてソフトカプセルを成形すると、軟エキスに含まれる揮発成分が該食用油脂に抱き込まれて揮発し難くなり、その後の乾燥工程においても揮発せず、カプセルの表面に凹みが生じない。【選択図】 なし
