The invention relates to a cream intended to provide protection against ultraviolet radiation and to a process for preparing the same. According to the invention, the cream consists of 2...12 parts of fluid extract of grape seeds, 0.5...10 parts of stearic acid, 10...25 parts of paraffin oil, 0.5...5 parts of cetyl alcohol, 0.4...4 parts of polysorbate 80, 0.25...3 parts of triethanol amine, 1...10 parts of glycerol, 0.03...0.1 parts of methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, 0.01...0.05 parts of propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, 0.3...5 parts of ethyl alcohol and water for the remainder to 100 parts, the parts being expressed by mass. The process claimed by the invention consists in preparing an emulsion of stearic acid, cetyl alcohol, paraffin oil, polysorbate 80, triethanol amine, glycerol and water, in one or two stages, by heating them on a water bath at 70...75°C, while stirring vigorously, and, after cooling, adding into the resulting emulsion the ethanol solution of methyl and propyl esters of p-hydrobenzoic acid and the fluid extract of grape seeds, while stirring continuously for homogenization, until a temperature of 25°C is reached.Invenţia se referă la o cremă destinată protecţiei împotriva radiaţiilor ultraviolete şi la un procedeu de obţinere a acesteia.
