The present invention also relates to an artificial joint comprising such an endoprosthesis (1) and to an endoprosthesis placement system comprising such an endoprosthesis (1 ) or artificial joint and a projection device (7) which is configured to project visible light markings (8), acquired from pre-operational and/or intra-operational patient data, onto the patient and/or the endoprosthesis (1), thus enabling visible alignment markings (6) of the endoprosthesis (1) to be aligned with respect to projected visible light markings (8) so as to allow a proper adjustment of the endoprosthesis (1).
