PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding rice transplanter designed to simplify planting section mounting structure, secure planting section support strength and lower the center of gravity of a traveling vehicle. SOLUTION: This riding rice transplanter is so designed that, the rear side of a traveling vehicle 1 is mounted with a planting section 15 in a vertically movable way and the traveling vehicle equipped with front and rear wheels 6 and 8 is mounted with an engine 2, a steering seat 13 and a steering handle 14; wherein mounting members 72, 75 are erected on the upper faces of the rear portions of a pair of left and right body frames 3 extendedly set up in the longitudinal direction of the traveling vehicle 1, the steering seat 13 is set up above the mounting members 72, 75, and the planting section 15 is linked via a link mechanism 27 to the rear side of the mounting members 72, 75, situated below and behind the steering seat 13.
