The present invention relates to a long-term and/or short-term storage method of oak seeds. More specifically, the present invention relates to a long-term and/or short-term storage method of oak seeds, which is characterized by comprising a step of pre-processing oak seeds in selecting vital seeds maintaining a certain moisture content； a step of manufacturing a substrate for storing and mixing seeds to maintain the moisture of the seeds during the storage period； and a step of determining a material for a container and an appropriate temperature for storage. The present invention can contribute to stable seedling production of oak trees, which are widely cultured as trees for major materials and bio circulation forest in Korea by smoothly providing the seeds by stably maintaining the quality of hard-to-store oak seeds. Further, the vitality of seeds can be maintained by stably maintaining the quality of seeds.본 발명은 참나무류 종자의 장단기 저장 방법에 관한 것이다. 보다 상세하게는 일정 수분함량을 유지하여 활력있는 종자를 선별하는 데 있어서, 참나무류 종자를 전처리하는 단계와, 저장기간 동안 종자의 수분을 유지하기 위한 종자 저장 및 혼합용 기질을 제조하는 단계와, 저장하기 위한 용기의 재질 및 적정 저장온도 조건의 확립하는 단계로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 참나무류 종자의 장단기 저장 방법이다.본 발명은 난저장성 참나무류 종자의 품질을 안정적으로 유지함으로써 종자수급을 원활하게 하여 우리나라에서 주요 용재 수종 및 바이오 순환림으로 확대되고 있는 참나무류 수종의 안정적인 묘목생산에 기여할 수 있다. 또한 종자의 품질을 안정적으로 유지시킴으로써 종자의 활력을 유지할 수 있을 것이다.
