PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction catheter capable of extensively sucking a blocker in a blood vessel thereinto and easily being inserted into even a curved blood vessel.
SOLUTION: A suction port forming member 4 having a suction port 5 to suck the blocker on its end is mounted on the tip end of an end-side shaft 3, and the end-side shaft 3 and the suction port forming member 4 are bent at a predetermined angle so that the suction port 5 could face a direction different from a tube axis direction of a proximal-end-side shaft 2, which allow the blocker in the blood vessel to be extensively sucked and even the curved blood vessel to be inserted thereinto.
