PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water type emulsion composition having fresh cream-like natural flavor and excellent in cooking suitability.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an oil-in-water type emulsion composition includes a step of preparing a raw material composition containing vegetable oil and fat, milk fat, and a milk fat degradation product, and a step of sterilizing and homogenizing the raw material composition.
