PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly economical/productive method for cultivating farm crops which enables year-round use of agricultural greenhouses and farmland even in low temperature season such as winter season or at a cold region.SOLUTION: The method for cultivating farm crops comprises covering farm crops with sheet-like or net-like emissive material containing a fluorescent dye when growing the farm crops in a plastic greenhouse or a glass greenhouse in a low temperature season such as a winter season or at a cold region. According to the method, when solar light is illuminated to the fluorescent emissive material through plastic or glass, fluorescence is emitted from the material and the farm crops are irradiated with the fluorescence to accelerate photosynthesis. The method enables early shipping of the farm crops even in the low temperature season such as the winter season or at the cold region because the growth speed of the crops is around 1.5-2 times higher than that by a conventional method in which such a material is not used, and furthermore enables 15-20% reduction in thermal energy such as petrochemical fuel or the like for keeping the inside of the agricultural greenhouse warm. In particular, the fluorescent emissive sheet is more effective because of having a large amount of emissive fluorescence and excellent heat retention.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】冬期等の低温期あるいは寒冷地においても、農業用ハウス及び畑地を周年使用可能とする経済性・生産性の高い農作物栽培方法を提供する。【解決手段】冬期等の低温期や寒冷地でビニールハウスやガラスハウス内で農作物を育成するに際して、農作物をシート状、ネット状の蛍光色素含有放射性資材で覆う。ビニールやガラスを通して太陽光が蛍光放射性資材を照射すると、上記資材から蛍光が放射され、該蛍光が農作物を照射して光合成を促進させる。冬期等の低温期や寒冷地においても、上記資材を用いない従来法に比べて成長速度が1.5~2倍程度早いため、農作物を早期出荷することができる。しかも、冬期等の低温期や寒冷地において、農業用ハウス内の保温用の石化燃料等の熱エネルギーを15~20%削減することができる。特に蛍光放射性シートは、放射蛍光量が高くかつ保温性に優れるため、より一層効果的である。【選択図】なし
