PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embossed absorbent article excellent in the operability of an embossing work and high in the diffusion preventing effect of a body fluid so that it is hardly felt in hardness when it is worn.SOLUTION: An incontinence pad 1 has an absorber 4 interposed between a liquid permeable surface sheet 3 and a back face sheet 2, and has a lattice-shaped emboss 23 formed in a lattice shape in a plan view.
