Modified Citrus Pectin is comprised of short, slightly -branched carbohydrate chains derived from citrus fruit peels alter by decreasing the molecular weight and degree of esterification. MCP is demonstrated herein to induce the activation of T-cytotoxic/suppressor cells, B-cells and NK-cells.
