The present invention is directed to a pharmaceutical composition comprising rebamipide having a mean particle size of less than 500 nm, a dispersing agent, and a viscosity enhancing agent wherein the viscosity enhancing agent has no aggregative action for the rebamipide particles, which is used as a gargle or a liquid preparation for swish and swallow comprising rebamipide for preventing and/or treating stomatitis caused by radiotherapy.La présente invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique comprenant du rébamipide présentant une granulométrie moyenne inférieure à 500 nm, un agent dispersant, et un agent d'amélioration de viscosité, ledit agent ne présentant aucune action d'aggrégation des particules de rébamipide. Ladite composition est utilisée comme bain de bouche ou comme une préparation liquide pour rinçage et ingestion comprenant du rébamipide destiné à prévenir et/ou à traiter la stomatite causée par une radiothérapie.
