The present invention provides a delivery means for delivering gene altering tool which is able to perform a high gene altering efficiency in cells. The composition of the present invention is a composition for inducing gene altering in a genetic locus of cells, wherein the composition comprises 1) a compound represented by formula (I) or a salt thereof, 2) structural lipids, and 3) guide RNA or DNA comprising the sequence encoding the guide RNA, and /or RNA-induced nuclease or nucleic acid comprising the sequence encoding the RNA-induced nuclease.
