PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article capable of recognizing that urination is performed by the visual change of a label material at right timing, and appropriately recognizing and determining the timing of replacement even when the amount of the urination of one time varies especially.SOLUTION: The absorptive article has a front surface sheet, a back surface sheet and an absorber interposed between both sheets, is put on with the front surface sheet as a wearer skin abutting surface side and the back surface sheet as a wearer skin non-abutting surface side, and has a vertical direction and a width direction orthogonal to it. The absorber has at least a skin side absorber positioned on the wearer skin surface side and a non-skin side absorber positioned on the wearer non-skin surface side. The label material to be visually changed by being brought into contact with liquid is provided over a predetermined length in the width direction between the non-skin side absorber and the back surface sheet. Between the skin abutting surface side of the label material and the skin non-abutting surface side of the non-skin side absorber, a hydrophobic mechanism for blocking the shift of the liquid from an article thickness direction is provided and a part where liquid permeability is lowered is provided.
