PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article in which standing properties of folding parts of a top sheet can be maintained and lateral leakage of body fluid can be suppressed.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 has an absorber 30, a top sheet 10 arranged on a skin facing surface side of the absorber, and a back sheet 20 arranged on a non-skin facing surface side of the absorber. A first folding line FL1 and a second folding line FL2 for folding the absorbent article in the way that the skin facing surfaces of the absorbent article face each other are formed along a longitudinal direction. The top sheet has a folding part 11 folded by the folding line 12 on both sides in a width part. In a crotch area S1, the first folding line and the second folding line are positioned inside in a width direction of the folding lines. The absorbent article has a first joint part 61 where the folding part and the back sheet are joined.
