PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article in which clarity of a compression groove is improved, and liquid guide property and liquid inhibition property by the compression groove can be sufficiently exhibited.SOLUTION: A surface sheet 2 of an absorbent article 1 is an irregular structure sheet comprising: plural skin side protrusion parts protruding to a skin facing surface side, and defining an inner space between themselves and a second sheet 9 and plural non-skin side protrusion parts protruding to a non-skin facing surface side. The skin facing surface of the absorbent article 1 has a linear compression groove 8 on which the surface sheet 2 and the second sheet 9 become dent toward a rear surface sheet 3 side in an integrated state.
