PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having an improved dry feeling during wearing. SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes an absorbent body 4 having an absorbent core 41 and a core wrap sheet 42, and a surface sheet 2 arranged on the skin facing surface side of the absorbent body 4. The surface sheet 2 has a concavo-convex structure on its non-skin-facing surface and contains cellulose fibers. The core wrap sheet 42 is made of crepe paper. The topsheet 2 and the crepe paper are superposed so that the orientation direction of the constituent fibers of the topsheet 2 and the direction in which the wrinkles formed on the crepe paper extend intersect. The convex portion 21 on the non-skin facing surface of the topsheet 2 and the crepe paper are joined together, and the topsheet 2 and the crepe paper are joined intermittently.
