The present invention relates to an antimicrobial and antifog composition comprising:(a) at least a non ionic surfactant comprising a hydrophilic unit and a hydrophobic unit, said hydrophilic unit containing poly(oxyalkylene) units responding to the [-(R1-O)z-]n with R1 represents linear or branched alkylene groups, such as propylene or ethylene and z is an integer equal or higher than 1, preferably ranging from 1 to 40, the number n of said poly(oxyalkylene) units being equal or higher than 3, and(b) at least an alcohol compound of low molecular weight equal or less than 500 g/mol,whererin the weight ratio R of the non ionic surfactant/alcohol compound is such that 2.5≤R≤200 and the content of the at least alcohol compound by weight, relative to the total weight of the antimicrobial composition is ranging from 0.01% to 5%.The present invention also relates to an aqueous solution comprising the above mentionned antimicrobial and antifog composition, and dry microfiber tissue and non woven wet tissue impregnated with said aqueous solution, and an opticle article comprising a main surface coated with a temporary antimicrobial film or coating obtained by wiping said main surface with one of the above tissues.
