PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for reducing the exposure quantity of a subject while facilitating grasping of an inserted matter by an operator and capable of forming an X-ray image in matching relation to the advance of a catheter or the like in forming a medical image which supports the insertion operation of the catheter or the like by an X-ray photographing apparatus.SOLUTION: A first image of a large visual field is formed from the X rays detected by a first X-ray detector the irradiation range of X rays is subsequently throttled corresponding to the detection range of a second X-ray detector of a small visual field a second image including the leading end of the inserted matter is further successively formed from the X rays detected by the second X-ray detector while the displacement of the leading end position of the inserted matter is calculated on the basis of the second image the relative position of the second X-ray detector to the subject is moved corresponding to the calculated displacement while the irradiation position of X rays is altered the relative position in the first image is shown corresponding to the movement of the relative position and the second image is magnified in parallel to be displayed.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】X線撮影装置によってカテーテル等の挿入操作を支援する医用画像を生成するにあたり、被検体の被爆量を低減させるとともに、術者による挿入物の把握を容易とし、かつカテーテル等の進行に合わせてX線画像を生成可能とする技術の提供を目的とする。【解決手段】第1のX線検出器が検出したX線から大視野の第1の画像を生成し、その後小視野の第2のX線検出器の検出範囲に応じてX線の照射範囲を絞り、さらに第2のX線検出器が検出したX線から、挿入物の先端を含む第2の画像を順次生成し、かつ第2の画像を基に挿入物の先端位置の変位を求め、さらに当該求めた変位に応じて被検体に対する第2のX線検出器の相対的位置を移動させるとともにX線の照射方向を変更させ、かつ相対的位置の移動に応じて第1の画像中に当該相対的位置を示すとともに、並行して第2の画像を拡大して表示する。【選択図】図1
