PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that facilitates a grasp of an inserted object by an operator and allows an X-ray image to be generated associated with movement of a catheter or the like while reducing radiation exposure of a body to be inspected when a medical image for supporting insertion operation of the catheter or the like is generated by an X-ray imaging device.SOLUTION: An X-ray diagnostic apparatus generates a first image having a large visual field from X-rays detected by a first X-ray detector, subsequently narrows an irradiation range of X-rays in response to a detection range having a small visual field of a second X-ray detector, sequentially generates a second image including a leading end of an inserted object from X-rays detected by the second X-ray detector, obtains displacement of a leading end position of the inserted object on the basis of the second image, moves a relative position of the second X-ray detector with respect to a body to be inspected in response to the displacement obtained, and enlarges and displays the second image in parallel while indicating the relative position in the first image in response to movement of the relative position.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】X線撮影装置によってカテーテル等の挿入操作を支援する医用画像を生成するにあたり、被検体の被爆量を低減させるとともに、術者による挿入物の把握を容易とし、かつカテーテル等の進行に合わせてX線画像を生成可能とする技術の提供を目的とする。【解決手段】第1のX線検出器が検出したX線から大視野の第1の画像を生成し、その後小視野の第2のX線検出器の検出範囲に応じてX線の照射範囲を絞り、さらに第2のX線検出器が検出したX線から、挿入物の先端を含む第2の画像を順次生成し、かつ第2の画像を基に挿入物の先端位置の変位を求め、さらに当該求めた変位に応じて被検体に対する第2のX線検出器の相対的位置を移動させ、かつ相対的位置の移動に応じて第1の画像中に当該相対的位置を示すとともに、並行して第2の画像を拡大して表示する。【選択図】図1
