Disclosed is a novel hair cosmetic composition which is characterized by containing the following components (a)-(c). (a) 40-90% by mass of a volatile oil component (b) 0.1-20% by mass of a polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene- butylene-dimethylpolysiloxane copolymer (c) 0.1-30% by mass of ethanol The novel hair cosmetic composition is largely used as a hair oil, and has excellent feeling of use and excellent stability over time.
