PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liver fibrosis suppressing agent which may suppress liver fibrosis in order to solve a problem that liver fibrosis is likely to occur when liver inflammation becomes chronic and the liver fibrosis relates to development of cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma, and thus it is desired to effectively suppress liver fibrosis.SOLUTION: A liver fibrosis suppressing agent containing dantrolene or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient is produced.
