The present invention relates to a composition for suppressing fibrosis, and more particularly to a composition for suppressing fibrosis, which contains a peptide derived from telomerase and is effective for suppressing fibrosis of tissue cells. Peptides according to the present invention may be of various types including fibrosis due to cancer development, fibrosis due to administration of chemotherapy anticancer agents, fibrosis due to radiation exposure, or tissue fibrosis that involves TGF-β signaling processes.
