Pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing liver disease containing cromolyn or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof as an active ingredient
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating liver diseases comprising cromolyn or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. Cromolyn inhibits accumulation of collagen known as a main secretion marker of hepatic stellate cells (HSC) and production of TGF-. In addition, cromolyn inhibits transfer of hepatocytes caused by the treatment with TGF- in hepatocytes, suppresses a decrease in expression of E-cadherin caused by the progress of EMT, and has an anti-aging effect of hepatocytes. Thus, cromolyn has a double effect including an effect of inhibiting the activity of HSC cells and an effect of restoring the function of hepatocytes, and thus can be used advisably as a fundamental agent for treating various liver diseases, including liver cirrhosis.본 발명은 크로몰린(cromolyn) 또는 이의 약학적으로 허용가능한 염을 유효성분으로 함유하는 간질환 예방 및 치료용 약학적 조성물에 관한 것으로, 크로몰린은 간성상세포(Hepatic stellate cell, HSC)의 주요 분비 마커로 알려진 콜라겐 축척 및 TGF-β의 생성을 억제할 뿐만 아니라, 간세포에서 TGF-β 처리로 인한 간세포의 이동을 억제하고, EMT 진행으로 인한 E-카데린(E-cadherin)의 발현 감소를 억제하며, 간세포의 항노화 효과를 가지므로, HSC 세포의 활성을 억제하는 효과를 가질뿐만 아니라 간세포의 기능을 회복시키는 이중적인 효과를 가지므로, 간경변증을 포함하는 다양한 간 질환의 근본적인 치료제로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
