The present invention relates to a process for reshaping keratin fibers comprising steps of applying a composition comprising an alkalizing agent, a thickening polymer, and an organic solvent as well as covering, putting the hair under tension using a curler, covering the curler with a moisture barrier, and heating the keratin fibers. As a result, a long-lasting curl having cosmetic properties is achieved.La présente invention concerne un procédé de remodelage de fibres de kératine comprenant les étapes consistant à appliquer une composition comprenant un agent d'alcalinisation, un polymère épaississant et un solvant organique ainsi qu'un revêtement, à mettre les cheveux sous tension à l'aide d'un bigoudi, à recouvrir le bigoudi avec une barrière à l'humidité, et à chauffer les fibres de kératine. Cela permet d'obtenir un gondolage durable ayant des propriétés cosmétiques.
