PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thickening oil-in-water emulsified composition which is free from stickiness and kinkiness and excellent in emulsion stability.SOLUTION: The oil-in-water emulsified composition comprises an aqueous phase containing agar microgel with an average particle size of 10-50 &mum, an oily phase dispersed in the aqueous phase as emulsified particles with an average size of 1-5 &mum and a powder component dispersed in the oily phase, wherein the total content of the microgel and the oily phase stands at 60-80 mass% based on the composition.
